Blizzard has announced a new title they have been working on, this is not project Titan so don’t worry if you are underwhelmed by this new title. Hearthstone looks like a great game to hop in and start playing right away. For the best explanation of what Hearthstone is then check out the video below. In my opinion it looks awesome but I just hope the cards are not really expensive.
Hearthstone is labeled as a ‘A fast-paced strategy card game for everyone’. There is three game modes, normal play, practice and the forge. These modes cater for different types of players, from the hardcore strategist to the new player who wants to give it a go.
Normal Hearthstone Play
Normal play is generally where most people will head, it allows you to look for games and use your decks from the collection manager which you have been slowly building up.
The Practice Mode
Practice is when you want to fine tune one of your decks or you would like to become more familiar with the game before you enter a match with another real player.
The Arena (Previously The Forge)
For those of you who have played magic the gathering the arena looks similar to draft play. For those of you who haven’t the arena basically cycles through various cards and you build a deck on the fly and then challenge other players with that deck.
